Carpe diem - Seize the day

A collection about the famous expression

As early as 23 BC, the poet Horace used the Latin expression "Carpe diem" in one of his poems. He appeals to enjoy every day, since life is finite. Also the annual Eternity Sunday (in Austria All Souls' Day), besides commemorating the dead, is supposed to encourage a more conscious approach to one's own lifetime. Let us use our day in a meaningful way and spend it with the people who are important to us and do what is important to us. Our films of the week show this in very different ways.
